From Trauma to Resilience
Kehilanu was created to address two urgent needs: the growing demand for high-capacity, accessible trauma support, and the need to reweave Israel’s torn social fabric. Our model is rooted in a simple but powerful truth — healing is more effective when personal and communal processes work hand in hand.
We envision an Israel that recognizes pain and responds with compassion — a society that builds a social safety net of belonging, care, and mutual support. We believe that real change begins with people who feel connected — people who have a place to share, support, be supported, and grow.
Kehilanu is more than a response to crisis — it is a movement for transformation. Our mission is to shift trauma from an experience of isolation into a pathway of connection, meaning, and shared healing.
Through our programs, participants find space to process personal pain while strengthening bonds of trust and solidarity. We build communities where healing itself becomes a collective act — where each participant not only heals, but also helps others heal.
When the individual grows stronger, the entire community grows stronger.

Our Approach
Kehilanu is a unique therapeutic model that is:
-
high capacity to realistically treat the high volume of trauma
-
inclusive-- easily accessible, doesn’t require a formal diagnosis and is stigma-free
-
a safe space for gathering and healing, that is open to all
-
reinforcing long-term healing through ongoing social connections, even after support groups finish
-
addressing both emotional and social dimensions of healing
