Our Mission

Poker Support Group for Soldiers and Reservists Suffering from Trauma

Many soldiers and reservists who are dealing with trauma are not interested in classic therapy group. They shy away from the stigma of ‘needing therapy’ and do not want a PTSD diagnosis on their official records. However, the option to play poker in a group of equals, while learning ‘Bankroll Management’ skills is generating huge interest. Under the guidance of a clinical psychologist who specializes in trauma treatment and group facilitation and a professional poker player, participants learn to reduce risks, maintain safe boundaries, self-calm under pressure, and more.

Support for Partners of Reservists

A support group customized for partners of reservists. In the group will be addressing issues including logistical challenges of having one's husband or wife be unavailable for months on end and the emotional stress of managing one's home/children alone, but also the constant fear of the effects of the war on their loved-one - such as worries about their safety in warzones, the often harsh transitions as their partners re-enter civilian life, the possibility of their partner developing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, etc.

Beyond Words: Film/Videography-Based Group Support for Triggered Trauma Survivors

Utilizing video interactive activities, our expert facilitators support survivors on their journey towards healing. This therapy is customized for women suffering from eating disorders and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, many of whom are survivors of sexual violence as well. Therapeutic work is based on narrative therapy principles and focuses heavily on regaining a sense of ‘control’ of one’s narrative in the face of triggered past trauma.

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Support Group for Women

A unique group for women that combines trauma-sensitive yoga with a shared group process of support, empowerment, and rebuilding a sense of inner safety. Inspired by The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk, the group focuses on the deep connection between body and mind. It invites participants to relate to their bodies in a new way — not as a site of harm or danger, but as a gateway to healing, stability, and renewed self-connection. This safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space allows participants to reconnect with their bodies and breath with gentleness and awareness. The combination of physical practice and guided conversation helps develop self-regulation skills, presence, and a sense of agency in one’s body — while also nurturing belonging and connection within the group.
